Directions To The Boat
For those with a sat nav the best postcode to put in is DT7 3JJ.
Head for Lyme Regis and then follow signs to “the Cobb” or the “Harbour”. These will bring you down a steep hill with a roundabout at the bottom and the harbour straight ahead.
You may drive round the harbour to drop your gear off so take the second left at the roundabout past the lifeboat station and round the harbour. As the Cobb has suffered some damage during the winter storms, parking on the Cobb is more restricted than usual. Please, where possible share cars to minimise usage.
Please drive very slowly-walking pace!
Please park up in the wide area before the buildings on the end. Trolleys will be available to bring your gear the rest of the way round to where the boat will be, about 50m along the front of the buildings. When unloaded you will then need to take your car to one of the car parks.
The best place to park is Holmbush car park at the top of the hill (DT7 3LD). Parking is £2 all day. This car park is popular so if we have a late start you may want to arrive early to make sure of a space.
The car parks on the seafront are short stay and more expensive. It is about £1 per hour but free after 6pm if you are in the car park closer to beach.
